May is my favourite month. There is anticipation in the air as the summer is still ahead but we can already enjoy the warm spring sun and watch the nature wake up from hibernation. This month’s wishlist is full of peachy, blushy shades that allow me to virtually escape to Southern Italy and the lush orange trees. At home, a definite sign of spring are cherry blossoms – along with flowy dresses and bare ankles, and perhaps sipping rosé in the garden.
FIN: Toukokuu on ehdoton lempikuukauteni. Ilmassa on odotusta, kun kesä on vasta edessä, mutta voimme silti jo nauttia auringon lämmittävistä säteistä ja ihailla kukkien puhkeamista. Tämän kuun toivelistani on sävyineen virtuaalimatka Etelä-Italiaan appelsiinipuiden katveeseen. Suomessakin upeat kirsikankukat ovat varma kevään merkki, samoin kuin hulmuavat helmat ja paljaat nilkat – ja kenties roseen siemailu puutarhassa.

If you’ve read any fashion magazines this spring or followed any influencers on social media, then you know the buzz that surrounded Hermès in March, as the luxury brand launched their first-ever lipstick, Rouge Hermès. Following suit, is Rose Hermès Silky Blush (75,00€) sold exclusively at Selfridges. This summer’s most coveted make-up product comes in eight shades but his gorgeously peachy Rose Abricot is my favourite.

The Valentina Floral Appliqué Headband (21,64€) is available in a bunch of colours but this blush pink seems to be in tune with the cherry blossoms around us.
