Ok, it’s been a while since we’ve checked up to get the 411 on what the ‘it’ girls of one of the greatest fashion capitals have been doing, or better yet wearing. Since New York is one of the most populated cities on the planet, not to mention one of the most fashionable ones, there is absolutely no shortage of fashion influencers, so we’ve done our work to bring you some of the most innovatively styled girls, so you can find inspiration for your own looks. Perhaps your personal sense of style won’t completely coincide with theirs, but there is always that little something that will spark inspiration and get the styling creative juices flowing, so let’s get right down to it.

Influencers, on the other hand, took the liberty of playing with the trend and making it their own, showing us that athleisure can go anywhere. For instance, if you’ve ever doubted that a chic blazer can be rocked with a strapless crop top and biker shorts, with dad sneakers on top, just take a look at Danielle Bernstein and all your doubts will be gone.
Chic and sporty is just one of the many ways athleisure can be pulled off. You can also look stunning in a pair of leggings such as the ones the super sexy Mint Athletic offers, and create a Bella Hadid look with a sports bra and a puffer jacket (don’t forget a killer tote and cool-girl narrow specs). Of course, athleisure, despite skeptics, can be pulled off at work as well – this look featuring a chic Chanel-reminiscent blazer paired with orange track pants with side stripes flaunted by Natalie Lim Suarez is made for those offices with a more relaxed and athleisure-friendly dress code.

This is the girl who will teach you all about statement dressing and patter-mixing, wearing hats with everything, even supremely romantic floral dresses with ruffled sleeves. Whatever she wears, even when she throws a touch of athleisure is still incredibly romantic, down to her footwear choices, so as said, when it comes to trendy romance, but romance nonetheless, this the girl to have on your radar.

This kind of versatility is something we could all stand to learn more about. We live in an era of endless fashion possibilities so why limit ourselves to one style only?
