Statement tights have been a street style thing for a while but I feel like during this winter they’ve really stepped forward, being no longer exclusive for children’s department. FIN: Mielestäni tyylikkäin tapa pukea värikkäät sukkahousut, on valita ne kenkien kanssa sävy sävyyn. Man Repeller -sivuston tyyligurut menivät jopa niin pitkälle, että pukivat viininpunaiset HUE:n sukkahousut kenkien päälle, luoden illuusion loputtoman pitkistä jaloista. Kiitos vaan, Balenciaga….

Pick A Color Scheme
If you don’t have the exact same color shoes and tights, you can try creating a color scheme of hues from the same family. Though all these four looks are more or less pinkish, different shades of blues, greens or neutrals also work perfectly here.
FIN: Jos et nyt satu löytämään juuri saman sävyisiä kenkiä ja sukkahousuja, kokeile saman värin eri sävyistä luotua palettia. Contrasting Colors
A few weeks ago I showed you this look by Blair Eadie, with the navy blue tights perfectly balancing golden yellow tones. Furthest down the road from monochromatic is spicing your mellow look with a contrasting pair of tights. Ugly pretty is the key here. Pick a color you’d never combine with the rest of your outfit and go for it!

When In Doubt, Go With Grey Wool
It’s cold, OK? So when there’s nothing else you can do to keep your legs warm, reach for the thick, woolly, grey tights that’ll never let you down. When the ground is dryer (and you only need to walk for a few meters) you can switch the booties for cute, strappy sandals.
