We’re approaching November faster than I would like but you know, the faster we get through the fall, the closer we are to summer again… So let’s hang in there! While being perhaps the most miserable month in terms of weather, there’s still a lot to look forward to. The buzz around H&M’s next designer collaboration with British fashion house Erdem has everyone holding their breath until November 2nd and besides that, all high street brands are dropping new winter styles every week. So if (and when) we have to face this dark and cold month ahead, at least we can glitter it up and make it pretty.

Mutta positiivisesti ajateltuna, mitä nopeammin pääsemme yli syksystä, sitä nopeammin saamme kesän taas takaisin… Vaikka marraskuu onkin monien mielestä se kaikkein ankein ja synkin kuukausi, on meillä onneksi paljon mitä odottaa. Suurin kuhina lienee H&M:n ja brittiläisen Erdemin yhteistyökokoelma, joka saapuu valikoituihin liikkeisiin 2.11., ja lisäksi muutkin katumuotiliikkeet pudottelevat viikoittain talviuutuuksia pelastukseksemme. Niillä saamme käännettyä tämän pimeän ja kylmän kuukauden voitoksi.

Cult skincare brand The Ordinary seems to never stop amazing me. Their new series of antioxidants offers EUK 134 (8,80€) in a super high (0.1%) concentration. Often overlooked EUK 134 is one of the strongest antioxidants out there, and with the unique ability to regenerate itself, it gives your skin round-the-clock defence from free radicals. It’s promised to slow down aging process and DNA damage caused by UV-rays, and to reduce redness and irritation. The customer reviews are raging, hyping this product as a life-savior so I’m anxious to add this to my morning routine.

FIN: Kulttimaineeseen noussut kosmetiikkabrändi The Ordinary onnistuu jatkuvasti hämmästyttämään. Uuden antioksidanttisarjan EUK 134 (8,80€) on erityisen korkean (0,1%) pitoisuuden suoja vapaita radikaaleja vastaan. Ihonhoidossa unohduksiin jääneen EUK 134:n erityispiirre on sen kyky uusiutua jatkuvasti, joten se tehoaa ympäri vuorokauden. The Ordinaryn asiakasarviot ovat ylistäneet tuotetta pelastajaksi, ja sen luvataankin hidastamaan ihon vanhenemista ja UV-säteiden aiheuttamia DNA-vaurioita, sekä lievittävän punoitusta ja ärsytystä. Tuskin maltan odottaa, että pääsen testaamaan tätä!

With the party season comes the inevitable: the freezing season. This year I’m going to ditch my wool scarves and go for this quilted one from Zara (19,95€) instead. It’s minimalistic design complements any coat style and the puffy polyester fabric will keep the cold wind at bay.

Who else is counting hours for the ERDEM x HM release? This pleated dress is just one of the dreamy, ultra-feminine, dark floral looks that deliver well-known, enchanting Erdem romantics 100%. The lookbook is so promising I’m guessing these products will be sold out online the first night. So stay awake or hit the store the first thing in the morning on November 2nd.
