As the nights turn chillier I find myself drawn to all kinds of interesting pants to keep my legs warm and covered. Bold statement trousers started to appear on the high street already in many SS17 collections but they’re definitely going to be a fall wardrobe staple. As seen on fashion influencers Danielle Bernstein, Yoyo Cao (check out my budget version of the look) and Yasmin Sewell, you’ve pretty much covered the fashion-forward aspect of your outfit with a pair of stunning pants. All other garments can be very simple.

Whether it’s the color, print, shape or texture of the pants, something has to draw attention. There’s no room for playing it safe. Try oversized trousers that sweep the floor or go wild with flower print with a matching blazer. Style your statement trousers with a top of same color but different texture, try color-blocking primary colors or add a feminine, soft top to make those sporty side-striped pants party-appropriate.
