My skin always reacts strongly as the climate changes and so has been again this spring. When the warm air finally reached Finland I’ve noticed my skin has getting really really dry and flaky with patches of the outer layer just falling out. Try putting on any make-up on a base like that… Since then I’ve ditched the harsh exfoliators for this brightening peel-off masks and overall decreased the amount of stuff I put on my skin. This mask (13,51€) is gentle yet effective and my skin always feels cleaner and brighter after this. It removes dead skin cells, unclogs pores and boosts radiance. I can’t tell how happy I was when I found out that ASOS has started to supply The Ordinary Skincare. I’ve raved about the brand on my blog before and now it’s possible to order the products at the same time with the coolest fashion finds. Plus the delivery is free – could it get more perfect? OK, they don’t sell the whole line but for example this serum (6,76€) has already become a cult product that’s always selling out. If you suffer from breakouts but feel that acne treatments dry your skin too much, this is for you. It doesn’t fight persistent acne but works perfectly for congested skin. Vitamin B3 reduces blemishes while zinc balances sebum activity. Apply all over the face or use topically like I do. Just remember: don’t use this alongside any Vitamin C products.

FIN: En voi sanoin kuvailla kuinka iloinen olin, kun huomasin Asoksen myyvän The Ordinary Skincaren tuotteita. Olen iloinnut linjan seerumeista blogissa aiemminkin, mutta nyt niitä voi tilata samalla kertaa vaatteiden ja asusteiden kanssa, ilman toimituskuluja! Sephora’s own leave-on overnight mask (now on sale for only 8,88€) is a lazy girl’s dream product. Slather on before bed and wake up with smooth and plump skin. Many leave-on masks often remain sticky after application and once you go to bed the product gets on your pillow and on your hair… Messy. This mask absorbs quickly and I haven’t felt the need to wipe off any excess in the morning. It suits all skin types, even sensitive and is ideal for travel too for the convenient 60 ml size. I always keep it in my carry-on and put on before flight. If your skin gets dry, red and irritated in the heavily air-conditioned cabin, this mask’ll be your savior.
